P-8A maritime patrol aircraft observed an unidentified low-flying object 55 NM northwest of Latakia, Syria on November 18, 2016. The object was detected via EO/IR sensor traveling at approximately 500 knots on a southeasterly heading, and was observed passing between Russian naval vessels.
